The Research & Development Council of New Jersey Awards Engineering/Technician Scholarships to Deserving Students DENVILLE, NJ, July 25, 2008-The Research & Development Council of New Jersey, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the advancement of research and development throughout the state, has once again awarded Engineering/Technician Scholarships to 10 deserving community college students. Each year, the Council awards $1500 scholarships to students in engineering, science and technology-related fields who are enrolled in any of New Jersey’s community colleges. Grade point average, major field of interest, extra-curricular activities, financial need, other awards and career goals after college are all taken into consideration. The R&D Council’s generous member companies make these scholarships available.
