R&D Council Announces Availability of Scholarships for Community College Students The Research & Development Council of New Jersey is seeking qualified applicants for its 2003-2004 Engineering/Technician Scholarships. Each year, the Council awards several $1500 scholarships to outstanding students who are enrolled in two-year New Jersey colleges, have one full year remaining and are in engineering, science and technology-related programs. Last year, the Council awarded twelve scholarships to New Jersey community college students. Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the Council's members. 2002-2003 contributors were: Becton Dickinson, BOC Group, Dow Chemical, Engelhard, Honeywell, International Flavors & Fragrances, National Starch & Chemical, Organon, Pfizer, Reckitt Benckiser, Sabinsa and General Magnaplate.
